Starting this fall, the Hartington Shopper will start printing our sports programs for football, volleyball, and girls/boys basketball. If you would like to purchase an ad for your business to be included in our programs, please contact Tom Schieffer at hartshopper@hartel.net or call 402-254-7474. Ad space is limited so act quickly!


To make space for the future Industrial Tech/Agriculture program, WPS will be participating in the Wynot Community garage sale from 8am to 1pm on Saturday June 25. All proceeds from sale will go to the development of new hands-on student learning experiences. Stop by and take a look!


The Summer Food Service Program provides free meals to all children ages 1 through 18 years at participating sites statewide. Use any of the following tools to find an SFSP site near you:

Here are the results from the State Track Meet from 5-20/21-22:
For the boys:
- Chase Schroeder placed 5th in the 800m.
- Tyler Nicke placed 5th in the 1600m.
- The 4x800 team of Chase Schroeder, Dylan Heine, Korbin Guenther, and Tyler Nicke placed 5th. They broke a school record in a time of 8:38.76.
- The 4x400 team of Jack Kutcha, Chase Schroeder, Joseph Sudbeck, and Charlie Schroeder placed 5th.
- The boys team placed 13th overall as a team scoring 16 points
For the girls:
- The 4x100m team of Kinslee Heimes, Karley Heimes, Myrah Sudbeck, and Krystal Sudbeck placed 4th.
- The 4x400m team of Kinslee Heimes, Myrah Sudbeck, Krystal Sudbeck, and Karley Heimes placed 2nd.
The girls team placed 23rd overall as a team scoring 13 points.

Students and parents.....the school will be collecting all student iPads on Thursday and Friday of this week. As a reminder, if a student has lost their assigned charger they will be given a $40 replacement fee ($20 for the cord, and $20 for the charging brick).

Did you know that the Wynot eSports team are BACK TO BACK state champs????? Well it's time to celebrate this huge feat with some t-shirts! Order forms are going home with students today! These will be due back Thursday morning! If you didn't get one (due to track or other reason) students can pick up a form in the office as well.

Hello Wynot Families! On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday students in grades 3-8 will be taking the NSCAS test. During this week, please avoid unnecessary absences, make sure students are getting extra sleep, have them charge their iPad each night, and simply encourage them to do their best!

Prepping for District Music Contest tomorrow


Good luck to the eSports team tonight after school as they compete in the final round of the playoffs. The winners of tonight's games will head to the state finals held live on April 29th at York College!


The April 20 Junior High track meet in Laurel has been postponed. We will notify you as soon as we get a date.

The Kindergarten Graduation and K-4 concert (originally scheduled for May 12th) has been moved to Wednesday, May 11th at 7PM.

Recently the NSAA and the Nebraska State College System announced the 2021-2022 Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award recipients. Check out the following Wynot students who earned this distinction!
