The 9th grade class braved a cold but fantastic day at Northeast Community College to explore different career interests! Some careers explored were Early Childhood Development, Precision Farming, Business, Marketing & Management, Construction, Welding, and Robotics!

Congratulations to these Wynot students for receiving post season recognition in Volleyball and Football.
All conference volleyball honors went to Kenna Oligmueller, Sophia Geisen and Jaylin Geisen.
All conference honorable mention honors went to Joslyn Hochstein and Eliza Lange.
First team all district football went to Andrew Haberman, Alec Sudbeck, Ian Haberman, Parker Schmidt, Lane Heimes, Emersyn Guenther and Devin Brummer.
Honorable mention first team went to Killian Steinhaus, Kotner Koch and Kason Hanson.

It's Scholastic Book Fair time!
From December 1st-10th (during school hours for students), Dec. 1st from 1pm-3pm, and Dec. 5th & 10th from 3:30pm-7:00pm, come experience the limitless possibilities with your kids. Every purchase benefits our school!

The one act team earned runner-up at their district competition! Not quite the ending they wanted, and sad to see the season come to an end... But this group performed their best show yet!

Last week Joslyn Hochstein spent 3 days with Mrs. Nelson in Lincoln at the NMEA All -State Convention!
Joslyn was a part of the All State Chorus made of over 440 students from across Nebraska! She spent the days working with Dr. Derrick Fox who is the choral director for Michigan State!
Congratulations Joslyn on your 3rd year in the All -State Chorus!

Nebraska is experiencing a significant increase in pertussis cases (also known as whooping cough)
Pertussis is spread by contact with respiratory droplets. Preventative measures include:
Hand hygiene
Cough/respiratory etiquette
Disinfection of desks and shared surfaces
We encourage families and staff to be up to date on vaccinations; this is especially important for pregnant people, as babies less than 6 months old are at risk for severe disease and are too young to be fully vaccinated, so rely on their parents antibodies for passive immunity.

The community is invited to our Veteran's Day program on November 14 at 9 AM in the WPS gym. Hot coffee and cookies are being served in the Commons following the program.
