Last week Joslyn Hochstein spent 3 days with Mrs. Nelson in Lincoln at the NMEA All -State Convention!
Joslyn was a part of the All State Chorus made of over 440 students from across Nebraska! She spent the days working with Dr. Derrick Fox who is the choral director for Michigan State!

Nebraska is experiencing a significant increase in pertussis cases (also known as whooping cough)
Pertussis is spread by contact with respiratory droplets. Preventative measures include:
Hand hygiene
Cough/respiratory etiquette
Disinfection of desks and shared surfaces
We encourage families and staff to be up to date on vaccinations; this is especially important for pregnant people, as babies less than 6 months old are at risk for severe disease and are too young to be fully vaccinated, so rely on their parents antibodies for passive immunity.

On Monday, our High School Choir performed at the Lewis & Clark Conference Honor Choir in Randolph.
The students had the wonderful opportunity to sing in a 160 person choir led by Joel Johnston of Midland University and accompanied by our very own Deb Kruse!
