As you can see, the weather was not quite as beautiful for them as last year, but they fought back with the wind and won and are proud of their accomplishments! 😁

Congratulations to Isabelle Heimes and Dylan Heine for the Omaha World Herald Honorable Mention All Academic Program in recognition of distinguished scholarship by an elite member of the Nebraska Class of 2024.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our band fundraising the past four years. These students are in Chicago. We cannot believe the educational experience and fun this trip has provided. The students have learned about the history of Chicago including the great Chicago fire. They explored the first Zephyr model, explored a German U-boat, learned how storms work, patterns in nature, how plastics affect our oceans and so much more at the Museum of Science and Industry. They explored the Navy Pier, got a Birds Eye view of Chicago at Chicago 360 and explored the Magnificent Mile. They finished the evening listening to Chopin and Tchaikovsky played by one of THE WORLD's great symphonies, the Chicago Symphony, where they saw musicians from around the world perform as one. Today they perform at Six Flags and end the day with some fun. We will live stream their performance at 10:30am. Thank you Mr. Todd Carr for helping put this phenomenal and educational trip together and thank you to our past directors and supporters. You've given these kids an out of this world educational experience.
